What it is for
MasMetal reads the materials on a shop drawing, floor plan, hand sketch or site note and proposes a cut list. On delivery it compares the note with your order. You always confirm every line.
Where to find it
Home → AI assistant, or in the calculation list "Import drawing (AI)". You scan a delivery note from an order.
Step by step
Pick the source
"Scan with camera", "Choose photos" or "Open file (PDF or image)". Several pages are fine.
Let it read
The app recognises the bill of materials, converts sizes and adds up positions.
Check every line
If the AI is not sure, the line says UNCERTAIN. Correct the section with "Choose section".
Put it on the list
Save it with a project, or tap "Add & request prices".
Check a delivery
From an order you scan the delivery note. Per line you see whether section, quantity and length match, and what is on the note but was not ordered.
Tips for the best result
- A sharp photo, straight from above and well lit, reads best.
- The app checks a delivery note up to 8 pages. Check the rest yourself.
- Your images go through the MasMetal service to Anthropic, the maker of Claude. They are not kept or used to train models.
